Kiwi artist Lisa Ann creates layered fine artworks inspired by nature that surrounds her New Zealand studio. She is also fortunate enough to travel to The Netherlands with her Dutch husband for a few months every year and is able to work from this northern hemisphere country that is so different from her own. The contrast between the northern and southern hemispheres is inspiring and energising.
All pieces are unique and original.
Moving forward with hope, passion and optimism, Lisa Ann is excited to offer new, original works and Limited Edition Prints full of life, intrigue and contrast.

ASSEMBLAGES
Discover these mono-tone assemblages. A sense of history is evoked as previous works are digitally manipulated and turned in contemporary patterns reminiscent of textile design. These are hand-cut into organic and geometric shapes and adhered onto a background making a contemporary collaged artwork. Paint is often removed from one ground to another, which illuminates brush strokes, and this paint is also adhered onto a ground.
