ASSEMBLAGES

This assemblages are a combination of acrylic paint and collaged patterns that are digital manipulations of my own previous artworks along with paint that has been removed from one ground to another and adhered to the final piece.  I enjoy immensely that previous artworks influence current pieces.  With a narrative of 'history matters', these works use a combination of organic and geometric shapes juxtaposed to create an abstract work.  Using the natural world around me as my influence, I endeavour to portray a feeling of nature as seen in my minds eye.  Each piece has a reduced colour palette with emphasis on form and composition.
